Description
The Saft SBLE 255 is a rechargeable 255Ah Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) block battery from the Saft LE block battery range. This robust and reliable battery delivers a low rate discharge over long periods between 1 and 100 hours, making it an excellent choice for power back-up applications.
The SBLE 255 comes with a standard connection type and is designed to deliver exceptional performance optimized for each application according to plate thickness. The battery features a height of 406mm, width of 195mm, and length of 183mm for 2 cells and 268mm for 3 cells.
Weighing approximately 11.9kg per cell, this battery is designed to be compact yet powerful. It holds an electrolyte volume of 710 cm³ between level marks, with 0.08 kg of solid electrolyte per cell and 0.97 L of liquid electrolyte per cell. The battery also boasts an impressively low internal resistance of 3 mOhms, ensuring efficient performance.
